I am a freelance writer and author with work including creative writing and opinion articles on politics and foreign policy. I have a background in linguistics and social science, and I have published several articles in Jacobin Magazine. I am particularly interested in foreign policy, geopolitics, the Middle East, Latin America, and East Asia.
I work as a freelance copyeditor and a fact checker for the Center for Applied Linguistics. I have a Master’s degree in sociolinguistics from Georgetown University, and while there I worked as an intern at the Smithsonian’s Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage.
